Activator® Poles are phenomenal in older adult classes. The 4 points of contact helpimprove posture, balance and security, but most important of all is the way participantsself-esteem goes off the chart!

The Urban and Activator® poles were a hit at our Parkinson’s retreats. I continue toshow the Activators® at our PWR!® Clinician trainings and welove them in our PWR!® Gym sessions.

Looking forward to using them

When talking to a friend about my balance issues, due to the aging process, my friend who has been an avid walker/hiker for decades strongly recommended this product. I ran my 10th marathon at age 62, but arthritis in both my hips necessitated replacement surgery. I did try walking, but could never quite become as enthused as I was about running. I have every confidence these poles will get me back into the swing of things (no pun intended) because it requires learning the correct technique and following a plan - something I was always good at in my running days.

Game changer

I used these for the first time walking a trail in a botanical garden. For the first time in years, I was able to walk longer and take on the (slight) incline and decline trail. I intend on taking these on vacation with me for city walking and through small villages (in China) where I'm told there will be cobblestone walkways. These are light and portable. I purchased the carry bag as well.
